"Hibs are standing on the brink of history" - David Gray

In the 2016 Scottish Cup Final, Hibernian faced Rangers. Over 50,000 people filled Hampden Park to watch the showdown. Hibernian scored early, and their dreams of ending a run of 114 years since last winning this cup slowly drifted into reality. But Rangers had alternative plans. Kenny Miller and Andrew Halliday both scored 20 minutes either side of half time, and it was looking bleak for Hibs. Anthony Stokes got his second of the day to make it 2-2 in the 80th minute, and it was all to play for. Enter captain, David Gray. Hibs get a corner, Henderson delivers, and within a flock of defenders, the captain rises and gets his head to it. David Gray has won it for Hibs! And their 100+ year wait for this trophy is over!
